Online play in Ontario
Ontario's regulated online gambling market opened on April 4, 2022, conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario and regulated by the AGCO. A private online casino is legal in Ontario only with AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. Regulated sites are listed in the directory at igamingontario.ca. OLG.ca is the online casino of OLG, the provincial agency. Online play is for people 19 or older, and only while they are physically in Ontario.
BetGuard, at betguard.ca, lets a person exclude themselves from every regulated Ontario online gambling site, OLG.ca included. The guide's paid links, marked Ad, lead to a private online casino partner for adults in Ontario. That partner is not OLG.ca, and the guide earns a commission from it.
